Calling all Cooks!!

Cooks and inspiring chefs, have you signed up for the "Harvest Cooking Challenge" yet? If you haven't yet, now is the time as slots are really filling up. Want more info? Here goes:

Each team (which can be an individual child, or best friends, or a family) must create something yummy using ingredients we grew in our garden. (Come into the children's department for the list) and then on September 20th at 6pm the dishes will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges (see the list below!) and one lucky team will be awarded the GOLDEN ROLLING PIN! Woah, now that is an honor.

Are you not really in the cooking mood? How about the eating mood? And, buying books mood? Well, if that is the case join us anyway to taste the great dishes, and purchase from our Children's book sale.

The East Longmeadow Celebrity Judges are:
- Ms. Brenda Houle, Principal of Mapleshade School
- Mr. Michael Dodds, Editor of the Reminder
-Mr. Chris Graziano, Owner of Graziano Gardens (and donated our gardens for summer reading!)
