YOU DID IT!!!!

This summer we have had the great honor of having a new prize in the raffle that wasn't exactly a prize. It was the "Read to Help" project where we asked readers of the summer reading program to donate raffle tickets to help animals in need at the Dakin Animal Shelter. Our goal was to receive 100 raffle tickets, and then a donation to the shelter would be made for $100 (plus our director was willing to match up to $100!!). Now, the tickets have been counted and we are so proud to announce that: YOU DID IT!!!

We are absolutely blown away by the generosity that our readers have. Not only did we meet our goal, but we ended up with 1202 tickets!!! That's 1202 hours of reading! Amazing!!
