More News and Martha Speaks!

Can you believe there is only two more weeks of summer reading?? Unbelievable! But, you know what's even more unbelievable? There is still time to sign up (all reading hours from June 14th on count) and there is still produce to create, games to play, items to guess, programs to attend, and books to be read!! Take a look at last week's activities, and here's what's happening this week:

- Mini Raffle, Wed 7/21 at 10:30
, stop in the library to be entered for a special mini prize! No registration is required.

- "Author Visit with Emily Chetkowski and Mabel (Star of the Mabel Books)" Wed. 7/21 at 11am, for ages 4-12. Sign up today as there is still space available!

- "Meet and Explore with Dora the Explorer" Thu. 7/22 at 10:30am, for ages 3-7. Registration is required.

In the Library you can....
- Follow the Ants to the picnic basket (for 2 tickets!)
- Create a sunflower craft (for 2 tickets!)
- Play in this weeks "BUG PIT" (you really need to take a look at this!)
- Take a guess at the guessing jar and the produce of the week. Last weeks produce of the week was ENDIVE....were you right?

And, so much more! Now, that is unbelievable!

Oh, and one more thing....

Are you entering kindergarten or first grade??? Do you love Martha Speaks??? Do you like free books????

If you answered yes to any of these questions you would love the Martha Speaks Book Club which is sponsored by WGBY TV. Each week the group will meet for a fun filled story and craft time and will get to take a book and other goodies home with them! This program will meet Tuesday 7/27, 8/3, 8/17, 8/24, and 8/31 at 4pm and is for children entering kindergarten or first grade.

Because of all the great giveaways (thanks to WGBY) there is only space for 10 children, so registration for each program is necessary.

Please note: you may start signing up for this program Tue. 7/20 and there is no book club 8/10 because of the roller skating party.
