Follow the Great Wall....

Last week, we had so much fun in Ancient Rome! To SEE the fun we had click here for the slideshow. Now set the dial on our time travel teleporter to 221 BCE and zoom back to Ancient China to see first hand the construction of the Great Wall of China!!

Mon. 7/11
@ 6pm: Mini Raffle, all ages are welcome! Just drop in and all will be entered for a small prize
@ 6:30: "Celebrity Meet and Read", all ages are welcome! Drop in (no registration is necessary) for a special PJ story time with preschool celebrities Cindy Milner (of the CPC), Marna Shields (of Busy Bees), Karen Wheeler (of Pryme Tyme Nursery School), and Gina O'Connor (of First Step Nursery School).

Wed. 7/13
@11am: "Magical Moments with Ed Popielarczyk" All ages are welcome to this awesome magic and variety show! Registration is required.

Thu. 7/14
@1:30pm: "Around the World Cartooning with Michael Cady", ages 8-14, Join us for a wonderful cartooning program! Registration is required.

All week at the library during "Time Travel Tour" hours

(Mon-Wed:10-7:30, Thu-Fri: 10-4:30)

@ Craft Kiosk: Earn 2 tickets by printing Chinese characters on "bamboo" or for younger crafters dress an an Ancient Chinese person for our windows
@ Time Travel Agency: Earn to raffle tickets by following mini pieces of the Great Wall of China around the Children's Department!
@ Time Travel Tours: Take a guess at our ROCK guessing jar (you could win 20 raffle tickets!!), Take a guess at our odd food item (you could win 10 raffle tickets!!), try on a silk robe, and play in the World Bazaar!
@ The Time Travel Teleporter (or at home!!): Write an online review of book you've read. Each review enters you to win 10 raffle tickets!
