Grab your sneakers.....

...and go for a StoryWalkTM in honor of Ms. Cindy!

Do you like to go on walks outdoors? Do you like to read picture books? And, do you love Ms. Cindy, the children's librarian? Well, we have an event that combines all three!! It's the first ever "StoryWalkTM" in East Longmeadow on November 12th-November 15th! This event is sponsored by Community Partnerships for Children "Pathways for Parents"

Here's how it works:

WALK: Go to the East Longmeadow bike trail beginning on Maple St. and walk to the Chestnut Street Intersection, then walk to the library. (Parking is available at Library)

READ: As you walk, you will find along the path sections of a picture book. So, as you walk, you read a fabulous story!

CELEBRATE: We all know how much Ms. Cindy loves children and loves books, so this walk is in honor of her! Your last stop in the walk will be the library where you will have opportunity to do something special for Ms. Cindy and have a chance to enter a drawing for a "Family Literacy Basket"

So, tie up your sneakers, gather the family, and we'll see you on the bike path on November 12th-November 15th!!

(The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library)
