ZOOs, CARTOONS, and LETTUCE?

It's true you can find all three in the library this week! Have you signed up for the summer reading program yet? If you haven't, there is still so much time as all your reading hours from June 14th on count! First, sign up online. Then, come into the library to receive your reading log and activity booklet. And, now for what's happening this week:

ZOO's: The Zoo is visiting the library thanks to the West Hartford Children's museum tomorrow 7/7 at 2pm. This program is for children PreK-grade 8. There is limited space still available

CARTOONS: Michael Cady is presenting "Very Green Cartooning" for children ages 8-14 on Thursday 7/8 at 2pm. Call or e-mail to register.

LETTUCE: Can you make lettuce out of old yellow pages from a phone book? If you come to the library...we'll show you how! If you come in to the library you can also.....

- Learn about composting at the conservation tree
-Take a guess at the guessing jar
-Try to figure out what the produce of the week is
(BY THE WAY, LAST WEEK WAS PAPAYA!)
-And, so much more!!
