Read to Help

So, you've signed up for the summer reading program online. And, you've come into the library and received your log book and raffle number. You have been reading and now you have TICKETS! Wondering what to do with them? You could spend them on prizes or you could READ TO HELP.....

How it works:
The "Read to Help" display is along with the other prizes and has a can like the rest of the prizes
Place your tickets in the can
If we receive 50 raffle tickets we will donate $50 to the Dakin Animal Shelter, if we get 100 raffle tickets we will donate $100. And, guess what? The library director, Susan Peterson is going to match our donation up to $100!!! Woo-hoo!

So what does the money go for?
The money Dakin will receive helps pay for food, bedding, and even toys to help animals have a better temporary home! For more information about this wonderful shelter check out their website.
