A Big Thank You :)

Thanksgiving is coming up, and we would like to say a big thank you to all of our Children's Department patrons. We feel very fortunate to have such a supportive community of parents and children. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

And can you believe it--December is just around the corner! Here are some highlights:

-The Giving Tree: Starting December 1, take a gift tag off our Giving Tree and buy a gift suitable for the age and gender of the child listed. Bring your unwrapped gift back to the library by December 14. Help brighten the holiday of a less fortunate family.

-Mom & Me exercise program: Friday, December 4, 10 am. For Moms with infants - 2 year olds, this exercise program is presented by Attain Sports Performance on the first Friday of each month during our Crawl Talk time on Fridays. Just drop in.

-Music Together with Sondra Lewis, Tuesday, December 8, 10:30 am. For infants to 5 year olds. Please register.

-Yugioh Tournament! Wednesday, December 9, 4-7:30 pm, Grades 3 to 6. Prizes will be awarded! Please register. -Holiday Story Time and Craft, Monday, December 14, 4pm, for all ages. Please register as space is limited.

-Registration for the Winter Story Time Session: Wednesday, December 16, for East Longmeadow residents, 9:30am in person and after 10:00 by phone or email. Non-residents may register starting December 17. Winter session starts the first week of January. Please see sidebar for Story Time details.

-Chess Tournament! Wednesday, December 16, 4-7:30pm, Grades 3 to 6. Prizes will be awarded! Please register.

-Open Studio, Wednesday, December 30, all day. Use your creativity and experiment with our art materials. All ages; just drop in.

-Special Author Visit: Erik Kraft! Wednesday, December 30, 6:30pm. Come meet picture book author, Erik Kraft, who wrote Chocolatina, the Lenny & Mel books, Miracle Wimp, and Flying. Erik is now a Boston resident, but grew up in East Longmeadow!
