A slew of new!

We are taking sign ups for our new slew of book groups and art workshops. Check this out:

• Rookie Readers with Ms. Kay for grades 1 & 2 . This theme-based book group meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 4 pm; sign up each month. October's theme is Halloween!
  

• On the Same Page Book Club with Ms. Jenn for grades 2 and up. This book discussion group will meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm. The first book is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; come in to sign up and get your copy! Then come share your ideas about this wonka book! You may read this book on your own or with a caregiver.

• 'Tweens & Parents Book Discussion Group with Ms. Cindy for grades 5+ and a parent. This group will meet the 4th Tuesday of each month at 4 pm. (Please note time change from Sept. calendar listing). The first book will be the classic Sign of the Beaver. Sign up and come in to pick up your copy to read.

• The Great Create art workshops for kids in grades 3 - 6 with Ms. Jenny. We will meet twice a month on Mondays from 4 - 5:30 pm. Sign up per session. The first session is Mon. October 19 and the theme is "Diary of a (???) Kid" Journal Making. (You fill in the blank!)

Oh and, while not new, we are continuing Chess Club and Yugioh Club with Haven Williams on alternate Wednesdays at 4 pm! The first meeting of Chess Club is October 7 and the first meeting of Yugioh is October 14. Appropriate for grades 3 to 6. Call to sign up!

PS - Don't forget that this Wednesday is Story Time sign up for E.L. residents, starting at 9:30 am in person. At 10 am, we will take phone registrations. On Thursday, 9/24, non-residents may sign up.
